Russell Wilson sells Cherry Hills Village mansion for $21.5M, takes multimillion-dollar loss

The most expensive home ever sold in the Denver area is officially off the market — and Russell Wilson took a $3.5 million loss to seal the deal.

Wilson, the former Denver Broncos quarterback who was cut from the team earlier this month, sold his 20,000-square-foot Cherry Hills Village mansion for $21.5 million Wednesday, according to Arapahoe County public records.

The quarterback and his wife, singer-songwriter Ciara, moved into 10 Cherry Hills Park Drive in April 2022, just weeks after the Seattle Seahawks traded Wilson to the Broncos.

With a $25 million price tag, the 2022 sale remains the most ever paid for a residential property in the metro area.

When Wilson signed a one-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers, it was once again time to put the house on the market.

The 20,000-square-foot home on 5 acres has four bedrooms and 12 full bathrooms, his-and-hers walk-in closets, an attached and detached garage, offices and more, according to the property’s 2022 Zillow listing. The home also houses a 2,590-square-foot indoor swimming pool, a basketball court and a guest apartment .

The Wilsons officially signed over the home to Cherry Park LLC on Wednesday, according to the public record deed.

Cherry Park LLC was created just last week on March 13 and has listed the Cherry Hills Village mansion as its principal office and mailing address, according to public records from the Secretary of State.

Wilson has used Duchess Investments LLC to buy and sell both his Seattle and Colorado properties.

Although Wilson moved quickly with the Colorado sale, his previous home in Seattle remains on the market, according to the Zillow listing.

The 11,104-square-foot waterfront estate in Bellevue was originally listed at $28 million, per the listing. More than 700 days later, the asking price has dropped to $26 million, but the house hasn’t been snapped up by any buyers.
