Steamboat Springs deli chain opening two more metro Denver locations

Yampa Sandwich Co., which was founded 24 years ago in Steamboat Springs, is opening two more Denver-area locations. The first at 8174 S. Kipling Parkway in Littleton is set to open later this summer and the second at 10445 Town Center Dr. in Westminster this fall.

Founded by longtime friends Peter Boniface and David Pepin, both avid backcountry skiers and outdoor enthusiasts, Yampa has six other locations in Fort Collins, Steamboat Springs and Denver, including two downtown and one in DTC.

These franchised locations will be open for breakfast and lunch, serving 20 sandwiches, eight breakfast sandwiches, along with salads and soups. Signature subs include the turkey bacon Ridgeline, the ham and brie Summit and the roast beef and gorgonzola Fourtneer sandwich.

The company is Lone Tree or Parker for future locations and is hoping to grow into out-of-state markets, such as Texas, Arizona and Wyoming, according to a press release.
