A woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Thursday on a highway off-ramp in Denver near the intersection of Interstate 25 and Interstate 225.

The woman who died was a passenger in the vehicle, police said in a posting on Twitter. The crash happened shortly before 3:26 a.m., police said.

Around sunrise, police said that ramps from southbound and northbound I-25 to I-225 were closed as investigators look into what happened. The ramps were reopened at 8:00 a.m.

The woman was not identified. No other information was released.
