Keystone Resort announces open date following Colorado winter storm

Arapahoe Basin may have been the first ski area to open for the 2023-24 season, thanks to a storm system that dumped snow across Colorado. But Keystone Resort won’t be far behind.

The Summit County ski destination announced Monday that lifts will start running Wednesday, Nov. 1. And it’s going to be quite a celebration.

“Party down 2+ miles of terrain with the Schoolmarm and Silver Spoon trails, with DJs, dancing, and donuts as the cherry on top,” Keystone posted on social media.

For those seeking to catch the first chair, the River Run gondola will start up at 9 a.m. to provide access to the Montezuma Express Lift.

See all the local ski resorts’ prospective opening dates here, except for Loveland Ski Area which has yet to announce when it will open.
