Westbound Interstate 70 reopened at Eisenhower Tunnel after a safety closure, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
A semi-truck caught fire near mile 209 in Summit County and caused CDOT to close the highway, according to the Colorado State Patrol. No injuries were reported.
Westbound I-70 was closed for more than an hour between exit 216 for U.S. 6/Loveland Pass and exit 205 for U.S. 6/Colorado 9/Silverthorne.
