An early morning crash near Silverthorne shut down westbound Interstate 70 Friday morning for several hours.

Westbound I-70 was closed between exit 216 for Loveland Pass and exit 205 for Silverthorne around 5:30 a.m., according to the Colorado Department of Transportation. The lanes reopened as of 10:17 a.m.
