Westbound Interstate 70 reopened Saturday afternoon in Arapahoe County near Peoria after a crash involving a semi-truck.
The interstate closed at Exit 316 for U.S. 36 — about 7 miles west of Peoria — around noon Saturday, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
A photo posted by the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office showed a yellow semi-truck turned over onto its side, spread across the entire westbound interstate.
The interstate reopened to traffic around 2:36 p.m., CDOT officials said.
The Colorado State Patrol is investigating the crash.
