Gusty winds ushered in a cold front overnight and now people along Colorado’s Front Range will enjoy a cool Sunday.
The high temperature is forecast to be in the high 70s, which is well below normal. The low on Sunday night should be in the mid-50s, according to the National Weather Service’s Boulder office.
There’s a chance of thunderstorms between 3 and 5 p.m. with wind gust up to 22 miles per hour, the weather service’s forecast said.
In eastern Colorado gusts could reach up to 50 miles per hour near the Cheyenne Ridge and the Palmer Ridge.
The weather service says temperatures will return to the 90s later in the week.
