3 Colorado resorts are charging $299 for a lift ticket this weekend

Vail Mountain is charging $299 for a single day of lift access during the busy holiday week, up from $275 last season.

ThatĀ represents a $100 jumpĀ in the price of a single-day ticket over the last six years. In 2021, a single-day pass during the holiday week was $239; it was $229 in 2020, $219 in 2019, $209 in 2018 and $199 in 2017.

And while itā€™s the highest lift ticket price guests have ever seen in Vail, itā€™s not alone as the highest in the country. Steamboat and Deer Valley are also charging $299 currently, and Deer Valley is no longer selling lift tickets for the coming weekend.
