Did your favorites make the cut?
On Monday, Trader Joe’s announced the 15th Annual Customer Choice Awards. The only products not eligible for these honors are the ones that won so often over the years that they’ve been installed in the TJ Hall of Fame. (Hello, Mandarin Orange Chicken.)
This year’s winners are:
Favorite overall: For the second consecutive year, it’s the Rolled Corn Tortilla Chips, Chili-Lime flavor. (The Steamed Chicken Soup Dumplings took second place.)
Favorite beverage: Spiced Apple Cider, a seasonal product. (Coming in second was the French Market Sparkling Lemonade.)
Favorite cheese: Goat cheese, in all its variations (Chevre with Honey, Crumbled).
Favorite produce: Bananas. (Teeny Tiny Avocados took second place.)
Favorite appetizer: Creamy Spinach & Artichoke Dip. (Mac and Cheese Bites came in second.)
Favorite breakfast & brunch: Hash Browns. (Chocolate Croissants took second.)
Favorite lunch & dinner: Butter Chicken with Basmati Rice won this entree category for the second consecutive year. (Coming in second was Tikka Masala Chicken.)
Favorite sweet treat: Sublime Ice Cream Sandwiches. (Mint Chip Ice Cream in second place.)
Favorite snack: Chili & Lime Flavored Rolled Corn Tortilla Chips. (Your second fave? Organic Elote Corn Chip Dippers.)
Bath, body & home: Brazil Nut Body Butter, a limited-edition summertime product. (Daily Facial Sunscreen SPF 40 came in second.)
