One person was killed in a crash on southbound Interstate 25 on Thursday, according to the Pueblo Police Department.
Officers responded to a crash between a truck and a motorcycle on southbound I-25 near U.S. 50 at 1:21 p.m., the agency said in a news release. The motorcycle driver later died from their injuries.
Southbound I-25 Â was closed between exit 102 for Eagleridge Boulevard and exit 100B for 29th Street/Pueblo until approximately 4 p.m., according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be factors in the crash, Pueblo police said Thursday. The name of the driver who died will be released by the Pueblo County Coroner’s Office.
