One person was killed in a crash between a vehicle and pedestrian in a construction zone near Holly Park Pool and Tennis Center in Centennial on Monday morning, according to the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office.
Northbound lanes of South Holly Street were closed between East Arapahoe Road and East Weaver Avenue as of 11 a.m. because of the crash, sheriff’s officials said in a post on X.
The sheriff’s office confirmed the crash was fatal at noon.
The road is expected to be closed for several hours, sheriff’s officials said.
