An RTD bus was involved in a crash with “serious injuries” in north Denver Saturday. A passenger in the other vehicle has died, police said.
The crash between the bus and a motorist happened near 49th Avenue and Race Street, The Denver Police Department reported at 1:04 p.m. on X.
Three people were taken to a hospital.
In a 3:07 p.m. update, police said one of the people taken to the hospital has died.
Police said they are still investigating the crash.
Race Street was closed between 48th and 49th avenues for about an hour but has reopened.
