The Pueblo Police Department is searching for a suspect in a June homicide.
In a Twitter post Tuesday, the department said officers are looking for Edgar Earl Darden Jr — a 33-year-old man wanted in connection to a June 11 homicide that took place in the area of West 11th and Francisco streets in Pueblo.
Darden is a Black male, who is approximately 5-foot-7, and weighs 180 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
A warrant for first-degree murder has been issued for Darden, Pueblo officials said in a Tuesday news release.
They said Darden is considered armed and dangerous and warned witnesses not to approach him.
Anyone with information is encouraged to call Pueblo’s non-emergency dispatch at 719-553-2502, detective Jose Medina at 719-320-6006 or Crime Stoppers at 719-542-7867. Information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward.
