The fifth annual Petite Parade took place in the Dairy Block Alley in LoDo on Feb. 26, 2023 in Denver.
The Mardi Gras-, New Orleans-inspired parade was organized by The Dairy Block and Handsome Little Devils entertainment company. Attendees and members of the public were encouraged to “laissez les bons temps rouler,” or “let the good times roll,” by dressing up in costumes, taking part in a shoebox parade where contestants made floats that had the base of a shoe box and dancing to live music by the Tivoli Brass Band and the Handsome Little Devils to celebrate Mardi Gras.
Mardi Gras, which stands for Fat Tuesday in French, was last Tuesday but that didn’t keep revelers from having a good time.
