A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Denver, and a Medina Alert was issued in the incident.

The fatal crash happened about 8 p.m. Friday at West 14th Avenue and Federal Boulevard, according to investigators.

On Saturday the suspect vehicle, a white 2006 Ford F-150 pickup, was found in the 5300 block of West Alameda Avenue, Lakewood, Denver police said. The vehicle was seized and the alleged driver held on investigation of leaving the scene of a crash resulting in death.

The Medina Alert connected to the incident was deactivated. An investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information on the incident, or the suspect driver, is asked to call 911 or Denver police at 720-913-2000.
