A person struck by a driver while crossing Evans Avenue mid-block Monday evening has died, Denver police said Tuesday.
The crash happened about 7:30 p.m. Monday near the intersection of Evans Avenue and Ogden Street, Denver police said in a post on X.
The person was taken to the hospital but died soon after, police said.
The driver, who was traveling west on Evans when they hit the person, stayed at the scene.
