Three people were sent to the hospital in two overnight shootings in Denver. Another person was injured early Thursday morning in a stabbing in Highland.
The first shooting happened in the 3100 block of Downing Street near Five Points and Whittier, the Denver Police Department reported about 9:30 p.m. on Twitter.
Two people were injured, police said, and taken to the hospital in unknown condition. Downing Street was closed between 30th Avenue and 31st Avenue while police investigated.
The second shooting was reported by police on Twitter about 11:10 p.m. in the 1500 block of South Federal Boulevard. near the intersection with Florida Avenue.
A man was injured and taken to the hospital, police said.
The Highland stabbing happened in the 1200 block of West 35th Avenue, Denver police reported about 5 a.m.
A man was taken to the hospital, and police said they have one suspect in custody.
