A motorcyclist died after a two-vehicle crash on Monday morning in Congress Park, according to the Denver Police Department.
Denver police officers responded to reports of a crash at Milwaukee Street and East 14th Avenue in the Congress Park neighborhood, according to an 11:30 a.m. X post by the Denver Police Department. East 14th Avenue was closed for the investigation and reopened around 1:30 p.m., according to the department.
A motorcycle traveling eastbound on East 14th Avenue hit a truck on the same road, police said. The truck was turning northbound onto Milwaukee Street from East 14th Avenue.
The motorcyclist involved in the crash was later pronounced deceased, police said in a 1:38 p.m. update on X. The other driver was not injured, according to the department.
