One person died Tuesday in an apparent accidental drowning at Ehrlich Lake in Weld County, according to the Milliken Police Department.
Police received a call about a missing 39-year-old Milliken man being seen at the lake on Tuesday, the department said in a news release.
Officers found the missing man’s belongings near the bank of the lake, and divers from several Weld County fire departments found the man’s body in the lake at 1 p.m.
Police are investigating the man’s death as an accidental drowning and do not believe foul play was involved, Milliken officials said Tuesday.
The man’s name will be released by the Weld County Coroner’s Office.
