Eastbound Lincoln Avenue is reopened from Urbana Boulevard to Chambers Road in Stonegate after a jack-knifed semi-truck leaked at least 75 gallons of diesel fuel. Hazardous materials crews started working before sunrise Tuesday morning to contain and absorb the liquids.
South Metro Fire Rescue and Douglas County Sheriff crews deployed to the scene of the crash, near where Lincoln Avenue intersects with South Chambers Road. It’s unclear whether the leaked diesel contaminated soil or water. The roadway reopened just before noon, according to the sheriff’s office.
