A crash on Interstate 70 near Denver International Airport on Thursday morning has been cleared after it blocked several westbound lanes, state transportation officials announced.
Two right lanes on westbound I-70 were closed between the intersections with Interstate 225 and Exit 281, Peoria Street, Colorado Department of Transportation officials announced in a tweet. They reopened as of 11 a.m., the Aurora Police Department said in a tweet.
According to an Aurora Police Department tweet, the wreck involved a large box truck. The tweet said traffic had been backed up to Tower Road.
Aurora Fire Rescue said in a tweet that two patients involved in the crash were taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
