The westbound lanes of Interstate 76 near Fort Morgan are back open after a tractor-trailer truck fire, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
The crash happened about two miles west of Fort Morgan after a hit-and-run crash involving the tractor-trailer truck and a three-axle box truck, CSP reported on X just before 1:30 p.m. The roadway has reopened, CSP about 5:15 p.m posted on X.
The box truck left the scene and left its lift gate at Exit 75, according to CSP.
The interstate was closed at Exit 79 between Colorado 144 and U.S. 34, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
