Concern from snow showers closed Interstate 70 westbound in Dotsero east of Glenwood Canyon for about 20 minutes.
The interstate closed between the Dotsero exit, exit 133, and Bair Ranch exit, exit 129, due to the safety concerns and reopened about 9:40 a.m.
The Colorado Department of Transportation advised drivers to expect delays from the closure.
There is no estimated time of reopening.
According to the National Weather Service, another one to two inches of snow are possible in the area through 3 p.m. Monday.
