Interstate 70 westbound at Eisenhower Tunnel and U.S. 6 over Loveland Pass are reopen after a closure due to safety concerns, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
The Interstate reopened about 1 p.m. Sunday and U.S. 6 reopened at 9 a.m. Monday.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Boulder expected heavy snow to continue falling in the mountains Sunday, and a winter storm is in effect through Monday.
