Eastbound Interstate 70 is open west of Golden after a crash involving three semi-trucks and a pickup truck closed the roadway for more than two hours Wednesday night.
One person was critically injured in the crash and transported to the hospital, said Colorado State Patrol Master Trooper Gary Cutler.
Information about the cause of the crash was not immediately available.
The interstate was closed between the Morrison Road and C-470 exits from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
Traffic on I-70 was backed up for three miles during the closure, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said in a post on X.
