All lanes of Interstate 25 in Thornton have reopened to traffic after a tanker truck rolled over on the highway.
The interstate was closed in both directions at 84th Avenue, the Thornton Police Department said on Twitter, as the crash happened under the 84th Avenue overpass, but the department announced at 6:50 a.m. the south lanes have reopened. The north lanes opened about 9 a.m., the department announced.
The tanker driver was taken to a hospital with minor injures, the Adams County Fire Department tweeted. The crash did not cause any damage to the 84th Avenue bridge, Thornton police said.
