Three men plead guilty in slaying of 18-year-old Yeshiva student outside Denver school

Three men have pleaded guilty in connection with a crime spree through metro Denver two years ago that included the killing of an 18-year-old.

Noah Loepp-Hall, 21, pleaded guilty to one count each of second-degree murder and first-degree kidnapping. Seth LaRhode, 22, pleaded guilty to second-degree burglary and theft; and Aden Sides, 22, pleaded guilty to first-degree assault with a deadly weapon causing serious bodily injury and kidnapping, the Denver District Attorney’s Office announced in a news release Monday.

All three are set to be sentenced May 31.

Two others, Isaiah Freeman and Samuel Fussell, were also charged in connection with the Aug. 17, 2021, killing of Shmuel Silverberg, a student of Yeshiva Toras Chaim, a religious school on West Colfax Avenue.

Police say the five burglarized a business, then robbed and shot a man before shooting Silverberg.
