Denver brewery stalwart opening second restaurant in Lone Tree

Great Divide Brewing, one of the oldest beer-makers in Denver, will open a second location of its Great Divide Brewery & Roadhouse in partnership with restaurant operator Vibe Concepts.

When it opens, potentially by the end of 2023, the Roadhouse — at 9899 Schwab Way in Lone Tree — will be “similar in scope” to the first location, which opened in Castle Rock in 2020, the brewery said.

“The partnership with Vibe Concepts is extremely strong and we’ve really enjoyed working with them in Castle Rock over the past few years,” Great Divide founder Brian Dunn said in a statement. “Given the history with them, it was an easy decision to pursue new locations.”

The restaurant — 8,200 square feet indoors and 1,300 square feet on the patio — will be able to seat more than 300 people. There will not be any brewing equipment on site.

Vibe Concepts operates more than a half dozen other restaurants in Colorado, including Roadhouse Boulder Depot, Spanky’s Roadhouse, Reivers Bar and Grill and Kickapoo Tavern. Great Divide, founded in 1994, has two locations in Denver and one at DIA.
