A fuel leak at a Toyota dealership in Englewood sparked a fire that damaged three cars early Thursday morning, fire officials said.
Fire crews responded to reports of a vehicle fire at Groove Toyota on South Broadway around 3 a.m. Thursday, according to Denver Fire spokesperson Capt. JD Chism.
Firefighters believe the fire started because of a fuel leak — the cause of which is still under investigation — and spread to three vehicles, Chism said.
Chism said the vehicles were new Toyota Highlanders and not electric vehicles.
Four fire companies responded to the scene — three engine crews with hoses and water, and one truck company with a ladder — Chism said.
