An Indigenous 16-year-old girl who was last seen in Fountain in late August has been found safe, officials say.
The girl, who is affiliated with the Nambe tribe, was last seen at 10 a.m. on Aug. 27 at a residence in the area of Legend Oak Drive and Fiona Lane in Fountain.
An announcement from the Colorado Bureau of Investigation on X said the girl was found safe.
