One person was killed and another was injured Wednesday afternoon in a crash on Colorado 93 in Jefferson County near Arvada.
Colorado State Patrol troopers responded to a multi-vehicle crash on Colorado 93 north of Golden at 4:23 p.m., trooper Gabriel Moltrer said.
One person was killed in the crash and a second person was taken to the hospital, Moltrer said. The status of the person’s injuries and further details about the crash were not immediately available.
Colorado 93 was closed in both directions between 58th Avenue and Colorado 128/120th Avenue for hours because of the crash, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation. The road closed around 4:40 p.m. and reopened around 9:30 p.m.
