Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash involving two tractor trailers on E-470 near Denver International Airport that closed the highway in both directions for several hours on Friday.
One northbound lane was still closed near 88th Avenue as of 4 p.m. and drivers should expect delays and seek alternate routes, officials said in a post on X. All southbound lanes have reopened.
The crash involved at least four vehicles, including two tractor trailers, E470 spokesperson Jessica Carson said. Two people were taken to the hospital with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.
Highway authorities first reported the crash at 11:46 a.m. in a post on X and said it would take at least two hours to clear the crash.
