Denver International Airport’s ground stop was lifted about 8:30 a.m. Friday morning after fog in the area caused low visibility.
The FAA reported the ground stop started at 7:23 a.m. and will last until at least 8:45 a.m.
Arriving flights were also delayed at least 45 minutes due to the fog.
According to flight tracking site FlightAware, 96 flights at DIA are delayed, including 54 departing flights and 42 arriving flights.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Boulder said the fog, which is causing visibility of a quarter mile or less, should dissipate between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m.
