Travelers flying in and out of Denver International Airport on Friday had to contend with 317 flight delays amid heavy rain and flooding along Colorado’s Front Range, according to the FlightAware tracking service.
DIA also had 7 cancellations, as of 3 p.m. Friday, and ranked near the top of the list of U.S. airports Friday for delayed inbound and outbound flights, data on the FlightAware website showed.
Among airlines, as of 3 p.m., Southwest had the most delays with 147, followed by United with 58, SkyWest with 40, and Frontier with 21.
