Monday will start a week of dry, warm days for the last week of September in Denver.
The high Monday will be 82 and there are mostly sunny and clear all day with a low of 51 degrees.
There will be an elevated fire danger on the plains Monday due to humidity levels dropping to as low as 15% in the afternoon, but winds will generally stay under 20 mph.
Each day going forward past Tuesday will be slightly warmer than the previous one. Wednesday has a high of 83 degrees and Thursday has a high of 84 degrees.
There could be some small showers Tuesday that move east from the mountains, but the dry air will stop most accumulation.
Wednesday will be drier that that and breezy, with gusts reaching up to 30 mph.
Thursday afternoon will likely see showers or storms in the mountains, and Denver has about a 20% chance of seeing some of those move into the area in the evening.
Friday will see a slight cooldown to 78 degrees, and the air will have much more moisture than normal. Showers and storms are more likely then, and a cold front over the weekend will bring cooler temperatures and more scattered shower and storm chances.
