A nice sunny Thursday is in store for Denver today before a cold front moves in overnight.
The day will be fairly dry and sunny with a high of 72 degrees, and the low will be about 44 degrees.
Overnight, the cold front will move into the area and drop Friday’s high temperature over 10 degrees from Thursday’s to 58 degrees.
The cold front could also potentially bring in some showers over the northern plains after midnight, and Friday afternoon, the Denver area has a 20% chance of seeing some showers or isolated storms.
Temperatures in Denver will rebound slightly Saturday, with a high of 65 degrees, then Sunday temperatures will return to the low 70s.
Some isolated showers and a few thunderstorms across the higher terrain is possible, but it should remain dry over most of the plains.
Next week, temperatures return to the mid 70s, and a few showers and storms can`t be ruled out across the high country each afternoon with dry weather likely for the plains.
