Light snow is falling across the Denver area, adjacent foothills and across the mountains Monday morning.
In Denver, the snow is expected to fall on and off before 1 p.m., but less than an inch of accumulation is expected. The foothills could get up to two inches of snow.
Monday will be a bit cooler for Denver, as the high is only 30 degrees and it will be cloudy most of the day. The low Monday night will drop to 15 degrees.
More light snow is expected Tuesday night into Wednesday. Total snowfall then is expected to be about an inch or two in the mountains and less than an inch for Denver and the Urban Corridor.
Additionally, another round of light snow will occur for the mountains Saturday afternoon and possibly expand to the plains late Saturday evening.
Temperatures will remain cool most of the week, with highs in the mid-30s and lows in the teens and low 20s through Friday.
