Denver reached 100 degrees Tuesday afternoon for the first time since 2022, according to National Weather Service forecasters.
Denver International Airport recorded 100 degrees at 2:04 p.m., the first time Denver reached triple digits since Aug. 5, 2022, according to NWS data.
Tuesday’s high does not break the 105-degree record set on June 25, 2012, and Coloradans will likely avoid record-breaking heat for the rest of the week as temperatures are forecast to cool slightly into the mid-80s before returning to the 90s Sunday and Monday.
