A Denver sheriff’s deputy has been arrested as a suspect in a Broomfield domestic violence case.
Denver Deputy Christopher Perez was arrested by the Broomfield Police Department for investigation of second-degree assault and domestic violence, the Denver Sheriff Department said in a news release Saturday.
Perez, a deputy since 2016 who is assigned to the vehicle impound facility, is on investigatory leave from the department. The independent monitor’s office and the Public Integrity Division have been notified of the arrest.
