Denver Nuggets fans poured into downtown Denver to celebrate the Nuggets’ first NBA title with a parade and rally on Thursday, June 15, 2023. The Nuggets defeated the Miami Heat on Monday, June 12, becoming the 2023 NBA Champions. The parade route begins at Union Station, follows 17th St., and turns on Broadway into Civic Center Park.
Players, coaches and management from Denver’s unforgettable 2022-23 squad will hop aboard firetrucks and float through downtown for the team’s first-ever championship parade.
Last year’s Colorado Avalanche celebration brought an estimated half-million people to the streets of Denver. This one could be even more packed — though city officials don’t have a firm number. During their 2016 Super Bowl parade, the Broncos drew an estimated 1 million fans.
