Denver International Airport is rife with conspiracy theories because of its remote location, underground caves, weird art and more. But it’s no secret that it’s also difficult to get to, located about 25 miles northeast of downtown Denver.
In addition to the distance, there is only one road leading to the airport, Pena Boulevard, and it’s notoriously prone to traffic due to expanded housing in the area.
Of course, cars with patient drivers can get in and out of the airport. But there’s also RTD’s A Line train that runs from the airport to Union Station with several stops in between. So do you pick up your loved ones rain or shine? Or are you asking them to take the train, which, for many Denverites, is faster than driving?
That’s the topic of a debate started on Reddit by user ninth_legionnaire. Now, we want to know: Do you think it’s rude to ask friends or family to take the train from DIA? In what circumstances do you prefer the train over driving?
