A man was shot to death Thursday and a suspect is accused of second-degree murder, Westminster police said.
Police responded around 8:05 p.m. Thursday to the 9600 block of Perry Street in Westminster on a report of a shooting, according to a news release.
Officers found a man who sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.
The suspect, Daniel Medrano, 18, was no longer on scene. Medrano, police said, called authorities shortly after and was taken into custody.
Medrano was held at the Adams County Detention Facility under suspicion of second-degree murder. The victim will be identified by the Adams County Coroner’s Office.
