CU Buffs announce time, channel for UCLA game

Colorado football is set for yet another prime-time matchup on national television. The Buffaloes will kick off their Oct. 28 game against UCLA at 5:30 p.m. in Los Angeles, the team and the Pac-12 Conference announced Monday. ABC will broadcast the game.

CU (4-3, 1-3 in the Pac-12) is still chasing bowl eligibility for the season, but it won’t come easily. Three of the Buffs’ remaining opponents are ranked: No. 25 UCLA, No. 12 Oregon State (Nov. 4) and No. 14 Utah (Nov. 25). And the other two teams aren’t exactly cupcakes: Washington State, which will host Colorado on Nov. 17, was ranked earlier last week but fell out of the Associated Press Top 25 after a lopsided 44-6 loss to Arizona — which the Buffs will take on Nov. 11 at Folsom Field.

Colorado is coming off a shocking double-overtime loss to Stanford in which the Buffs blew a 29-point halftime lead. But success is relative: In his first year in Boulder, head coach Deion Sanders has already quadrupled the Buffs’ 2022 win total.
