3. Columbine6-03W (42-7 at Pomona)
Similarly, whoever emerges from Friday night’s Columbine-RV game could be considered Cherry Creek’s biggest threat in 5A. This week: at No. 4 Ralston Valley, 7:30 p.m. Friday.
4. Ralston Valley5-14W (47-0 at Lakewood)
Mustangs are 3-2 against Columbine since becoming league rivals in 2018, with RV taking three of the last four. This week: vs. No. 3 Columbine, 7:30 p.m. Friday.
5. Arapahoe5-15W (63-7 at Smoky Hill)
Warriors did a Dolphins impersonation last Friday with five touchdowns in the first quarter and seven players scoring TDs. This week: at No. 6 Grandview, 7 p.m. Thursday.
6. Grandview5-16W (39-32 vs. Eaglecrest)
Could Wolves have two receivers top 1,000 yards? Nate Denton (27 catches, 448 yards) and Xay Neto (25-410) will give it a try. This week: vs. No. 5 Arapahoe, 7 p.m. Thursday.
7. Chatfield5-18W (42-0 at Arvada West)
Chargers could easily be 7-1 heading into Week 9. Then it’s Ralston Valley and Columbine, back to back. This week: vs. Pomona, 7:30 p.m. Friday.
8. Regis Jesuit3-310W (35-7 at Douglas County)
Raiders play a top-10 team for the fourth time in five weeks on Friday night. The previous three all resulted in losses for Regis. This week: vs. No. 2 Pine Creek, 6:30 p.m. Friday.
9. Mountain Vista5-19W (49-7 at ThunderRidge)
The Austyn Modrzewski show just keeps getting better. Last week, the junior threw for 451 yards, five TDs and zero interceptions. This week: at Rock Canyon, 7 p.m. Friday.
10. Castle View5-17L (21-3 vs. Valor Christian)
Even after losing to Valor, the Sabercats are still only allowing an average of 8.6 points per game. This week: at ThunderRidge, 7 p.m. Thursday.

Red Hawks remain lone team to come within one score of Palmer Ridge (28-27), and their only other loss is to No. 2 Erie. This week: at Falcon, 6 p.m. Friday.
4. Broomfield4-25W (49-21 vs. Dakota Ridge)
Eagles answered some questions piling up 399 rushing yards on Dakota Ridge last Saturday. This week: vs. Aurora Central, 7 p.m. Friday.
5. Golden5-19W (32-21 at Bear Creek)
Throw the ball against this Demons defense (10 interceptions) at your own risk. This week: at Standley Lake, 4 p.m. Friday.
6. Thomas Jefferson6-010W (52-13 at Visa Peak Prep)
Spartans aren’t just beating teams, they are blowing their doors off with an average margin of victory 32.5 points per game. This week: vs. Far Northeast, 7 p.m. Friday.
7. Mesa Ridge4-2NRW (36-34 at No. 9 Pueblo West)
After taking down Pueblo West in a shootout, Grizzlies have emerged as Montrose’s greatest threat to a league title. This week: vs. Coronado, 7 p.m. Friday
8. Loveland4-27L (36-19 at No. 2 Erie)
Class 4A’s most consistent program has been noticeably inconsistent recently. Time to get right in league. This week: vs. Grand Junction Central, 11 a.m. Saturday.
9. Pueblo West4-23L (36-34 vs. No. 7 Mesa Ridge)
After a narrow miss against Mesa Ridge, Cyclones get shot at redemption against No. 1 team in 4A. This week: at No. 1 Palmer Ridge, 7 p.m. Friday.
10. Fruita Monument4-2NRW (37-34 at Heritage)
Did anyone have a better Friday night than Wildcats quarterback Amari Wilson (256 total yards, 6 total TDs) against Heritage? This week: at Grand Junction, 7 p.m. Friday.

A brutal back-to-back against Lutheran and Northfield could set the ceiling for Tigers. This week: vs. No. 3 Lutheran, 7 p.m. Friday.
5. Northridge5-05Idle
The combined record of Northridge’s first five opponents is 4-25. Still a lot to learn about Grizzlies. This week: vs. Mountain View, 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
6. Durango4-16Idle
Demons are 2-1 against New Mexico and unbeaten against Colorado. A solid Summit squad will test that. This week: at Summit, 6 p.m. Friday.
7. Northfield4-17L (30-27 at Vista Ridge, OT)
Taking 4A Vista Ridge to overtime, a year after losing 46-8 at home, says quite a bit about Northfield’s trajectory. This week: vs. Kennedy, 11 a.m. Saturday.
8. Lewis-Palmer4-18Idle
The Rangers have yet to lose a game to 3A competition. This week: at Harrison, 7 p.m. Friday.
9. Riverdale Ridge4-19W (38-0 at Sierra)
Showdown with Denver North (4-1) could be de facto 3A North Central League championship game. This week: vs. Denver North, 7 p.m. Friday.
10. Thompson Valley3-210W (44-14 vs. Niwot)
Eagles will have their hands full with QB Jaden Hoffman and Severance’s explosive passing game. This week: vs. Severance, 7 p.m. Friday.
