A four-vehicle crash overnight northeast of Denver left drivers with serious injuries, forcing the closure of Tower Road between 96th and 100th avenues — and alcohol apparently was a factor in the crash, authorities said Thursday morning.
Three of the four drivers involved in the crash around 11 p.m. Wednesday were taken to a hospital for treatment, according to Commerce City Police Department postings on X, the social media site formerly called Twitter. The at-fault driver and another driver suffered serious injuries, police officials stated in the message. “This is being investigated as a DUI collision.”
