Child’s body found in concrete-filled container in Pueblo storage unit prompts search for kids missing since 2018

A child’s remains were found in a metal container filled with concrete inside a Pueblo storage unit, and Pueblo police are searching for two children not seen since 2018.

Pueblo police on Jan. 10 responded to the 600 block of West 6th Street, where a person found a metal container filled with concrete, according to a news release.

Pueblo Police Special Victims Unit and Crime Scene Investigations Unit found the child’s remains while searching the container.

The Pueblo County Coroner will identify the victim, and Pueblo police are investigating the case as a homicide.

As part of the investigation, police are also searching for two children: Jesus Dominguez and Yesenia Dominguez, who have not been seen since summer 2018, according to the news release.

Yesenia was about three years old when she was last seen and would currently be nine years old. Jesus was about five years old when he was last seen and would currently be about 10 years old.

Pueblo Police have interviewed two people of interest in this case, according to the news release.
