Chaparral High School was evacuated Friday and students dismissed early after a bomb threat, but the school has since been cleared by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office searched the school and students gathered in campus parking lots, according to a 12:41 p.m. DCSO tweet.
School was dismissed early at 1:15 p.m., the sheriff’s office said.
The sheriff’s office cleared the campus and said that no suspicious device was found. Students were able return at 3 p.m. to gather belongings.
