The deadline for the Broncos to decide Russell Wilson’s future in Denver is quickly approaching. And according to one sportsbook, his time in the Mile High City looks to be coming to an end.
Wilson has +750 odds — meaning a $100 bet would win $750 — to take his first snap of the 2024 season with the Broncos, according to DraftKings Sportsbook, as of 5 p.m. Tuesday. Denver has the fourth-best odds of retaining the quarterback.
It’s a drop-off from the +350 odds the sportsbook gave Denver last Monday. The team had been the second favorite by the oddsmaker.
The Steelers continue as the favorites, improving their odds from +100 to -250 to land the former Rockies infield prospect.
The Raiders (+550) are the second favorites, followed by the Falcons (+650). The Patriots (+850) and Vikings (+1,000) have the fifth- and sixth-best odds, respectively.
Speaking of the Vikings, Minnesota quarterback Kirk Cousins has +1,000 odds to take his first snap with Denver next season — it’s the ninth-best odds on the site. Minnesota (-200) is the favorite, followed by Atlanta (+300), New England (+800), Pittsburgh (+1,000) and Las Vegas (+1,000).
The Broncos have +1,000 odds to have Bears quarterback Justin Fields take his first snap with Denver next season. The Broncos have the fifth-best odds, behind the Falcons (-130), Steelers (+350), Bears (+500) and Patriots (+700).
