Bo Nix finally has a jersey number.
The Broncos rookie quarterback will wear No. 10 during the 2024 season, the team announced Thursday. The number originally belonged to quarterback Zach Wilson, who will now wear No. 4.
Jarrett Stidham will wear No. 8, a number he wore while playing at Auburn, after donning No. 4 in 2023.
The No. 10 has been with Nix throughout his football career. He wore it while playing for Pinson Valley High School, where he accumulated more than 12,000 yards of offense and 161 touchdowns (127 passing and 34 rushing touchdowns).
Nix, the Broncos’ first-round overall pick, also wore the number during his three-year stint at Auburn and two seasons at Oregon. Nix broke Oregon’s single-season records for completions (364), passing yards (4,508) and touchdown passes (45) in 2023.
His dad, Patrick, also wore No. 10 during his college football career at Auburn. Patrick totaled 4,957 career passing yards and 31 touchdowns in four seasons with the Tigers.
For the rest of Denver’s 2024 rookie class, wide receiver Troy Franklin will wear No. 16, running back Audric Estime will wear No. 37, wide receiver Devaughn Vele has No. 81, edge rusher Jonah Elliss has No. 52 and guard Nick Gargiulo has No. 66.
Meanwhile, cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine will wear No. 31, which was worn by former safety Justin Simmons.
Jersey numbers are subject to change before the start of the regular season. Last year, wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. switched from No. 83 to No. 19 before Week 1.
Fans can purchase the jerseys at the Broncos’ team store or online.
